Dakota Mortensen Granted Temporary Custody of Son Ever Amid Investigation

A hearing is set for April 7, at which point Taylor will be allowed to tell the court her side of the story.

“No parent time is allowed until the scheduled hearing,” the order reads.

Along with being granted temporary custody of Ever, Dakota was also granted a temporary restraining order against Taylor. In his initial filing, he alleged that she choked him, hit him and prevented him from leaving during one of the encounters.

He also claimed to have called 911 during one altercation, and that Taylor “pressured and manipulated” him into saying their kid was sick to end the call. He added that she was allegedly threatening to harm herself.

The court’s ruling comes after a leaked video showing a 2023 altercation between the two leading up to her arrest appeared online.

Following the release of the video, ABC decided to cancel Taylor‘s season of The Bachelorette, which was scheduled to premiere on Sunday, March 22.
