Danielle Campbell Weds Colin Woodell, Originals Co-Star

Danielle Campbell and Colin Woodell have a special entry for their diaries.

Two years after the Originals costars announced they were engaged, they tied the knot in a wedding that appeared to take place in France, according to pictures shared to Instagram on Sept. 15.

For the occasion, Danielle donned a silk, spaghetti-strapped gown, while Colin sported a black tux, before he changed into a cream-colored jacket for the outdoor reception. They had plenty of sweet moments at the ceremony, as one video showed the married couple sharing a slice of wedding cake, with Colin putting a dollop of icing on Danielle’s nose before licking it off.

Even before tying the knot, the pair made the most of their European getaway, which included a stop at a cathedral and a bakery, as captured by the Rookie alum on her Instagram Story.

The wedding culminates more than seven years of romance between Danielle—who played Davina on the Vampire Diaries spinoff from 2013 to 2018—and Colin—who joined the cast of the CW show as Aiden in 2014. Throughout the years, they have shared glimpses into their love story, like when the Waterfront actress commemorated their fifth anniversary in February 2023 with a carousel of pics of her and Colin cuddling up to each other and laughing.
