Not all that long ago, Tia Mowry ended her dating journey.
“ghosting, and love bombing, and emotional unavailability, OH MY…kidding, but not kidding,” she captioned a September 2023 TikTok, featuring her drinking wine and lip-syncing to the viral line, “It got worse—but I feel like it’s about to get worser.”
At the time, the 47-year-old was less than a year removed from filing for divorce from Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage. But The Game alum—who shares son Cree, 14, and daughter Cairo, 7, with her ex—had already had it up to here with playing the field.
She wrote on another (since-deleted) TikTok a few days later, “When an emotionally immature man thinks he can play you, but when he goes low you go lower.” But, as the caption stressed, “this is a joke (don’t play with me).”
Regardless, it sure sounded as if Tia was going through it, a relatable state of affairs for a newly single person thrust into the world of the unattached-and-looking.
