Dave Mason Health Issues Lead to Tour Cancellation

Renowned singer-songwriter Dave Mason has made the difficult decision to cancel all of his scheduled 2025 tour dates due to persistent health issues that have arisen from his ongoing recovery process. Mason had been optimistic about returning to the stage this year after postponing performances in September 2024 because of an alarming heart condition discovered during a routine checkup, which necessitated immediate hospitalization.

The talented musician, who gained fame as a former member of iconic bands such as Traffic and Fleetwood Mac, is best known for his solo hit “We Just Disagree,” which reached No. 12 on the charts in 1977. He had initially planned to reschedule the canceled 2024 tour dates for this past spring and summer but is currently battling a severe infection that he contracted in March.

“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all my fans, my family, my band, my agents, and the venues that have shown such patience and unwavering support throughout this journey. Your encouraging messages have uplifted my spirits more than words can convey. The road to recovery is long, but my love for each of you runs deep and strong.”
