Davis Mallory No Longer Identifies as Gay


Davis Mallory is sharing an update on his journey.

The Challenge alum stated that he is no longer gay after recommitting to his Christian faith.

“I lived a gay lifestyle for about 20 years, I was on a television show The Real World and I came out as a gay Christian,” Davis, 42, said in a Sept. 14 Instagram video of him on stage speaking at the Arise House of Prayer and Worship in Hawaii. “But God really pulled me out of that lifestyle a year ago.”

Davis—who made his television debut and came out during his time on The Real World: Denver in 2007—shared with the crowd that he began having a series of dreams where he said God was prompting him to change his lifestyle.

“Yeah, praise God, praise God, honestly,” he said. “He started speaking to me in my dreams and showing me the spiritual warfare that I was going through. Every time I returned to sin I would have a nightmare that a car, my car was being broken into. I had a nightmare I gave my title to someone else. I was giving my identity to someone else while my car was sliding backwards.”
