The group, led by the charismatic Ian Astbury, has described this upcoming journey as “a communal gathering of the tribes featuring sets from Death Cult and The Cult” in an official press release, emphasizing the unique blend of nostalgia and fresh energy.
Spanning three weeks, the tour kicks off on October 9 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and wraps up on October 30 in Los Angeles. The dark electronic act Patriarchy will open these electrifying shows, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Discover the Origins of Death Cult: A Brief History
Formed in 1983, The Cult initially performed under the name Death Cult, a nod to Ian Astbury’s previous band, Southern Death Cult. They made their mark early on with a self-titled EP and the single “Gods Zoo,” both released in 1983, before rebranding as The Cult in early 1984.

In August 1984, The Cult unveiled their debut album, Dreamtime, which included the track “A Flower in the Desert,” a reimagined version of the earlier song “Flowers in the Forest” from Southern Death Cult. Their sophomore album, Love, released in 1985, marked a significant turning point for the band, propelling them into the spotlight with chart-topping hits like “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Rain,” and “Revolution,” which all reached the Top 5 in the United Kingdom.
Most recently, The Cult released their album Under the Midnight Sun in 2022, continuing their legacy of impactful music.
