During their initial Las Vegas residency in 2013, Def Leppard performed their iconic album Hysteria in its entirety. In a humorous twist, the band even opened for themselves under the name Ded Flatbird, showcasing some of their lesser-known tracks. Guitarist Vivian Campbell reminisced about this experience, saying, “We went out and played some really obscure and really deep tracks from Def Leppard’s history,” which made it a personal highlight and a unique experience for the audience.
Their subsequent shows in 2019 offered a broader retrospective of their extensive catalog, featuring a remarkable 23-song setlist that encompassed hits from across their career. Fans were treated to eight tracks from Hysteria, four from the groundbreaking Pyromania released in 1983, and two each from High ‘n’ Dry from 1981, Adrenalize from 1992, and the self-titled Def Leppard from 2015, providing a rich tapestry of music that spans their evolution.
