Max Styler, a producer and DJ with hits on labels like Dim Mak and Insomniac Records, is launching his own label, Nu Moda.
The artist from California has over a decade of experience in music production, achieving multiple Beatport chart-toppers with his tech house tracks. Styler’s new label aims to be a “creative platform designed to challenge convention and open new intersections between sound, style and identity.”
This vision includes cultivating a distinctive aesthetic influenced by underground subcultures, featuring original artwork that combines typography, layered iconography, and symbolic imagery.
“Nu Moda is for me, my friends and the artists who inspire me,” Styler states. “It’s a place to push boundaries in production, style, or self-expression.”
The label will debut with Styler’s own track “You & Me,” set to release on Friday (Oct. 17). He describes the track as incorporating familiar sonic elements while exploring new textures, which he aims to achieve with each new release.
Nu Moda will kick off with a launch party on Dec. 3 at Floyd in Miami during Art Basel and will also host an event during Miami Music Week 2026. These events will showcase the label’s experiential side by merging music, fashion, and art under one roof.
In addition to the debut release, Nu Moda will feature collaborations with like-minded artists and new talent in 2026. Meanwhile, Styler is touring extensively with headlining shows across the U.S. and Canada, along with festival appearances at EDC Orlando 2025, Groove Cruise 2026, and Coachella 2026.
“For as long as I can remember, starting my own label has been one of my biggest goals,” Styler adds. “This is something that I’ve been working toward for many years, and now that the moment has arrived, I couldn’t be more excited.”
