DUI Arrest of Lamar Odom: Details and Updates

Lamar Odom is encountering new legal issues.

The two-time NBA champion was arrested and booked for driving under the influence on January 17 in Las Vegas, according to arrest records reviewed by E! News.

Additionally, Lamar, 46, was charged with driving more than 41 miles over the speed limit and failing to maintain his lane/improper lane change, as per the records. A hearing in this case is scheduled for March 17.

The basketball star—who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016—previously faced a misdemeanor DUI charge after being arrested in Los Angeles in August 2013, which resulted in his driver’s license being suspended for one year. In December of that year, he entered a no contest plea and was ordered to serve 36 months of probation, pay $1,814 in fines, and complete an alcohol education program, as confirmed by E! News at that time.

Two years later, Lamar experienced a near-fatal drug overdose at a Nevada brothel, where he was found unconscious in October 2015. He remained in a coma for three days, enduring six heart attacks and 12 strokes during his hospital stay.
