Emma Hernan‘s relationship with boyfriend Blake Davis was a major storyline of the ninth season of Netflix’s Selling Sunset and they’re surprisingly still together today.

The 33-year-old reality star seemingly started dating Blake, 28, in early 2024 as he shared their first Instagram photo together in April 2024.

The current season of Selling Sunset was filmed in January and February 2025 and the couple broke up during filming, but they seemingly got back together within the next few months as they celebrate Blake‘s 28th birthday together in May 2025.

Blake shared photos from their Turks & Caicos vacation in October 2025, confirming they are still a couple.

The Davis Development page on LinkedIn says, “Davis Development is a vertically integrated, multi-family housing developer based in Atlanta, Georgia who develops and manages upscale apartment communities throughout the Southeast, Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States. Emma‘s relationship with Blake caused some drama in her friendship with BFF Chrishell Stause, as she did not approve of him.

“It feels like I’m having a conversation with a child or a drunk cheerleader,” Chrishell said right after meeting him.

“You don’t want to feel like you’re being someone’s mom … it feels like you’d be his mom a little bit,” Chrishell told Emma. “I hope he’s still maturing. God forbid he doesn’t. I don’t think this is your person. But that’s also probably not what you want to hear right now, so I’ll be quiet.”

Chrishell was later relieved to learn that Emma had turned down Blake‘s proposal and that she broke up with him. While she apologized for not making it easy on Emma by sharing her harsh opinions of Blake, she pointed out that her behavior proved that she would always keep it real with her friends.

The season ends with them on good terms, but they later had a falling out.

In the comment section of an Instagram video she posted in May, a fan asked Chrishell, “What’s happening with you and Emma? Hot topic on Reddit.”

Chrishell didn’t hold back as she ripped into Blake.

“Ask her about her MAGA bf who told me pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word,” Chrishell wrote at the time. “I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.”

The ladies got into a heated argument about him at the reunion, which was filmed this past August. The Selling Sunset season 9 reunion drops on Netflix on November 5.
