Taylor Swift has just accepted a lifelong love story with Travis Kelce.
After nearly a year of dating, the Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are engaged, as they shared on August 26.
In a joint announcement, the couple stated, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The accompanying photos captured Travis down on one knee in a beautiful garden adorned with pink and white roses. The following images featured the couple embracing, along with a close-up of Taylor’s stunning diamond ring.
Taylor and Travis, both 35, first ignited romance rumors in the summer of 2023 when the athlete attended the “Blank Space” singer’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, where his attempt to give her a friendship bracelet was interrupted.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis said on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “So I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
