Despite the passage of time, the surviving members of The Doors, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore, continue to look forward rather than dwell on the past. Legacy is odd to discuss when you’re still working,” Densmore remarked in a conversation with Variety earlier this year. “I’m proud of The Doors, and I like looking forward,” he added, emphasizing their commitment to moving ahead in their careers.
