Anastasia Soare, the CEO and founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, revealed her unexpected connection to the Gossip Girl alum.
“I am his godmother!” she told ELLE in an interview published Jan. 15. “He’s from Romania, from the same town I was from. His mother has been my friend since we were in the fifth grade.”
The beauty mogul, 68, went on to praise the Sharper actor, noting that they’ve maintained their connection to one another since leaving Constanta, Romania decades ago.
“He’s an amazing person, and such a talent,” Anastasia shared. “I love him. His mom lives in New York, but we see each other when she comes here to visit.”
Indeed, Sebastian has a special bond with his mother Georgeta Orlovsch—who immigrated to the United States with her son from Romania in the 1990s—and even brought her with him as his date to the 2025 Academy Awards, where he received his first Oscar nomination for his performance in The Apprentice.
