It is with heavy hearts that we bring you disappointing news regarding Jonathan Knight and his highly regarded home renovation series:
Today, Knight revealed that the popular show Farmhouse Fixer has officially concluded after an impressive run of three seasons.
The renowned star of New Kids on the Block, who has transitioned successfully into a television personality, stated that the choice to end the show was made solely by HGTV. He expressed that he remains uncertain about the underlying reasons for this decision.

Jonathan Knight Shares Heartfelt Message Confirming Fans’ Fears
In an emotional update shared on Instagram, Knight reached out to his loyal fans to discuss his latest career developments, expressing gratitude on behalf of himself and his talented Farmhouse Fixer co-host, Kristina Crestin.
“I’m currently having an amazing time performing my residency in Las Vegas with NKOTB. Many of you have been inquiring about the future of Farmhouse Fixer. It truly saddens me to announce that HGTV has decided against producing another season,” Knight shared candidly on Wednesday.
“While I am still trying to understand the factors that contributed to their decision, both Kristina and I are incredibly thankful for your unwavering support throughout our journey over the past three seasons,” he continued, adding:
“Working in television has been an immensely enjoyable experience for both of us. We take great pride in what we have accomplished together and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to share our future endeavors with you.”
Jonathan and Kristina also participated in the 2024 special Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp, which featured Knight’s brother and fellow NKOTB member, Jordan Knight.
In addition, Knight was part of the last two seasons of Rock the Block, but as of now, it seems that his collaboration with HGTV has reached a close.
This cancellation news emerges during a period when HGTV appears to be implementing budget cuts by discontinuing multiple beloved shows:

Major Changes: HGTV Cancels Four Shows in Just One Week
On Sunday, popular hosts Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas took to Instagram to express their concerns, revealing that their show Bargain Block “may not be” on air for “much longer.” This cancellation has seemingly been confirmed following their announcement.
Just two days later, the dynamic duo of Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson revealed that HGTV had canceled their show, Married to Real Estate, after four successful seasons.
Shortly after that, Izzy Does It star Izzy Battres also took to social media to share the unfortunate news that his series “won’t be returning for another season,” as mentioned in the comments of a recent Instagram post.
“The support, the messages, and the love have all meant the world to me!” he wrote in the caption of his post.
“Although we didn’t receive the green light for a second season, we are leaving this experience filled with gratitude,” he later confirmed in the comments section.
While HGTV has yet to publicly address the wave of cancellations or respond to concerns about potentially severing ties with a more diverse array of casts, it is anticipated that the network will issue an official statement in the coming weeks.
