Nicole Kidman’s appearance during Paris Fashion Week was practically magic.

However, while the Oscar winner turned heads with her new breakup bangs, she admitted to feeling anxious about stepping out for the Chanel Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show, which she attended alongside her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, on Oct. 6, just six days after filing for divorce from their dad Keith Urban. 

“I’m just very nervous, actually,” Nicole told Vogue in a behind-the-scenes video of getting ready for the event. “I have my daughters coming with me. But I’m very excited for Matthieu [Blazy] because this is a big moment for him.” 

Indeed, the 58-year-old—who also announced she is returning as an official ambassador for Chanel—was thrilled for her friend, who is now the French fashion house’s new creative director, adding, “To be able to celebrate him with his first show with Chanel, and the beginning of an incredible journey together, it’s exciting, right?”
