The now 22-year-old actor shared his candid reflections on how his life drastically changed when he catapulted to stardom at just 13 years old, following the massive success of Netflix‘s hit series Stranger Things in 2016.
“While I don’t think I’d ever want to redo anything in my life, I sometimes wish I could go back to the time when the show exploded and prioritize getting myself into therapy right away,” he disclosed during a recent interview with People.

“The experience was so overwhelming and happened so quickly that I didn’t have the opportunity to consider my well-being at that moment,” he mentioned, reflecting on the whirlwind of his sudden fame.
In addition, he addressed the significance of living without regret. “Regardless, I would likely make different mistakes if I had the chance to change things. I believe that childhood and life are fundamentally about learning through trial and error,” he explained.
