Fivio Foreign Released After Terroristic Threats Conviction

Fivio Foreign has recently been released from prison after serving time for terroristic threats. His release marks a significant moment in the life of the drill music star, who faced serious legal repercussions.

On August 1, Fivio received a sentence that included time already served, along with an additional three years of probation, following his guilty plea. This outcome can be seen as relatively lenient, considering the severity of the charges he faced.

Prior to his sentencing, he had spent almost 200 days incarcerated after his arrest in January. Initially, Fivio was looking at a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years, with a minimum term of five years, which indicates he managed to evade a far harsher penalty.

As part of his probation conditions, he is required to undergo drug testing and must refrain from any further legal troubles, which adds a layer of accountability to his post-incarceration life.

As of now, the New York native has not publicly addressed his release, leaving fans and media curious about his next steps.

The rapper’s legal troubles began when he was accused of brandishing a firearm at a woman who sought his assistance in jumpstarting her car on New Year’s Eve in New Jersey. The police report details that the 34-year-old artist threatened the woman while aiming the gun, stating, “If I see you parked in front of this building again, there is going to be a fucking problem.”

This alarming incident prompted a call to law enforcement, with witnesses present who were able to identify Fivio without difficulty. Additionally, surveillance footage from a nearby apartment complex further supported the victim’s account of the event.

Fivio was taken into custody on January 5 and faced five serious charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault. Interestingly, news of his arrest did not emerge until March, despite him having already spent three months in jail.

Fivio Foreign has a history of controversy, notably recording a song that showed support for Donald Trump. He has also been an outspoken advocate for Tory Lanez in light of the 2020 shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.

During an appearance on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion Podcast last year, he stated, “I fuck with Tory. I know Tory as a real person. In my eyes, I don’t even know if Tory has any guns. I know him. I know his personality. I don’t see him as that type of person.”

He added, “I wasn’t there, I’m not a lawyer or any scientist, but if somebody said they got shot and there’s no hole in their body, then they didn’t get shot. We all know that, but we know how this shit goes.”
