Jeremy Renner and his sister Kym Renner received support from several celebrities at a recent charity gala where the siblings were honored for their philanthropic work helping provide services to foster youth.
The 54-year-old Marvel star co-founded the nonprofit RennerVation Foundation with his sister. Together, they were recognized during an award ceremony held at A Sense of Home’s (ASOH) 10th-anniversary gala on Saturday (October 4) at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.

There were plenty of other celebrity guests in attendance, including Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Soleil Moon Frye, comedian Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, and Property Brothers star Drew Scott with his wife, Linda Phan. Actors Tobey Maguire and Emile Hirsch were also in attendance but were not photographed.
With the aid of its star-studded guest list, ASOH raised $1 million, which will go toward supporting the nonprofit’s ongoing efforts to create homes for youth aging out of foster care and to assist displaced survivors of natural disasters.
Jeremy shared, “You know, that’s to me every foster child. All they need is a little water. All they need is a little soil, a little sun, little love and they’ll be the most special people in the world. I’m honored to have a community of people at my side to help me and so thank you A Sense of Home.”
“He [Jeremy] doesn’t say often, he was in a terrible accident, and within six months of his recovery coming back, he knew more than ever that life is short, and that’s when he started our nonprofit, six months after, and he’s been rocking and rolling ever since. He doesn’t have to do that and that’s what his will is now and we want to pay it forward,” said Kym.
