Gabriel Iglesias & Jo Koy’s Historic Show at SoFi Stadium

Mark your calendars! Renowned comedians Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias and Jo Koy are set to perform live at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 21, 2026, as announced by stadium officials earlier this week. This much-anticipated event promises to be a highlight in the comedy calendar, attracting fans from across the region and beyond.

The upcoming show, titled One Night Only, is being produced by Icon Concerts, a leading name in comedy promotion. With expectations of drawing a crowd of up to 55,000 attendees, this performance is poised to be a landmark event in the comedy scene, showcasing the incredible talent of both comedians.

“We’ve been wanting to do this show for a number of years but it wasn’t until recently that we’ve been able to make everyone’s schedule work,” explains Mike Bernal, vice president of Icon Concerts. “Gabriel is an L.A. hometown hero and Jo, who hails from nearby Seattle, boasts a massive following in Southern California, having successfully sold thousands of tickets in this lucrative market.”

Bernal notes that the initial presale tickets have seen remarkable demand, highlighting that “they are selling evenly across all price points, which is what we like to see.” Ticket prices vary, starting from $69 to $113 for seats in the 500 section, $138 to $170 for the mid-level 300 section, and premium $326 for floor seating, making it accessible for a wide range of fans.

One Night Only will represent a significant achievement in the live comedy industry; in the last decade, only a select few comedians have successfully headlined stadiums. Most recently, Iglesias himself headlined Dodger Stadium in 2022. Notably, in 2015, Kevin Hart performed in front of over 53,000 fans in Philadelphia, and last year, Nate Bargatze became one of the first comedians to sell more than 1 million tickets in a single year, earning an impressive million from 148 shows.

The live comedy industry is thriving like never before. According to Billboard Boxscore, the top 10 comedy tours collectively generated an astounding $397.3 million from 4.3 million fans last year, marking a significant increase of 52% from 2023, when the top 10 tours brought in $260 million from 2.9 million attendees.

In 2024, Iglesias secured the No. 3 spot on Billboard’s Top Comedy Tours chart, grossing $42.8 million with 603,000 tickets sold across 124 shows. Meanwhile, Koy ranked No. 10 on the same chart, generating $26 million from 83 shows in front of 368,000 fans, illustrating the immense popularity and demand for their performances.

“Since day one, I wanted to bring comedy to the stadium,” emphasizes Adolfo Romero, who serves as the vice president of programming and booking for SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park. This venue is home to various smaller venues, including a newly constructed Belgian spiegeltent designed for CineVita, a unique cinema live experience first announced in December.

“We’re at a 750-person capacity in the spiegeltent,” Romero specified. The complex also features the YouTube Theater, which accommodates 6,000 attendees and has hosted numerous comedy events, including the 2024 Black Comedy Festival, showcasing the venue’s versatility and commitment to promoting diverse comedic talent.

“We want to ensure that when people go out to see comedy, it’s not limited to just the Laugh Factory or venues in Hollywood,” states Romero. He expresses hope that One Night Only will “showcase the stadium in a different light,” emphasizing SoFi’s meticulously designed sightlines and advanced visual technology, all crafted to enhance the overall live experience for comedy fans.

“Sound quality is paramount for us, and we are equipped with five levels of LED screens at the stadium which can also be utilized as part of the show,” Romero noted. “Their production team is collaborating closely with our team to guarantee that the sound and sightlines for audiences are optimized for an unparalleled comedy experience.”
