Ghislaine Maxwell Rumor: Paris Hilton’s Recruitment Allegations

Paris Hilton is addressing a controversial rumor.

The 44-year-old responded to reports alleging that late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein‘s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, currently serving 20 years in prison for federal sex trafficking, had once met her at a party and wanted to “recruit” her.

“I don’t even remember ever meeting her,” Hilton told The Sunday Times Magazine in an interview published on Nov. 15, adding, “I’m such a good clickbait name.”

In 2000, a then-19-year-old Hilton and Maxwell were photographed together with now-President Donald Trump—who had been friends with the hotel heiress’ famous family for years and founded the T Management modeling agency that she was signed to at the time—at the Anand Jon Fashion Show in New York City.

The photo was featured in the 2020 Lifetime docuseries Surviving Jeffrey Epstein. On the program, Christopher Mason, a former acquaintance of Maxwell, alleged that the British socialite once suggested that Hilton would be “perfect” for Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 after being indicted on charges of sex trafficking dozens of underage girls from at least 2002 to 2005.
