As the editor-in-chief of V Magazine since its inception in 1999, Stephen Gan has consistently featured models as the magazine’s cover stars. At the beginning of 2025, names like Amelia Gray, Lara Stone, and Alex Consani came together for a series of celebratory covers, while Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham, and Isabeli Fontana (among others) made appearances for summer. Making a return to the cover of V Magazine for the Fall 2025 issue is Gigi Hadid. Exactly one year after her last cover appearance, the American model poses for the photographic duo Luigi & Iango. Reunited with the creative team, Gigi exudes a strong sense of vintage glamour in the stylish and poised cover shot. Dressed by cover shoot stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, the industry favorite looks stunning in red Miu Miu (a look taken directly from the Fall 2025 collection).
Gigi Hadid for V Magazine #156 Fall 2025

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“GIGI AGAIN?” asked a disgruntled DK92 upon checking out the cover.
“Gigi for V Magazine? Groundbreaking,” echoed ReneSanchez.
“This woman again? But I like the cover,” confessed forum member jeje10.
After all, not everyone was left so dissatisfied. “I’m going to hate myself for saying it but it’s not terrible and I kinda like it,” admitted a pleasantly surprised aa2005.
“Absolutely head over heels for this!” raved vogue28. “I love the strong sense of vintage glamour, the poise, the elegance, the refinement, the red Miu Miu, and the boldness of the cover itself. Quite rare for V Magazine to go down this more elegant route. Also massively here for Luigi & Iango shooting for V!”
Bertrando3 applauded: “WOW, I am impressed. I usually criticize Hadid a lot because it’s almost always half-baked but THIS is gorgeous. She’s so fierce here! Love the drama in her pose, the glamorous styling. Perfect hair and makeup. Luigi & Iango never fail. Good job!”
