Gilmore Girls Project Confirmed by Lauren Graham

Along with Amy Sherman-Palladino, Graham will collaborate on a behind-the-scenes book of the hit WB/CW series. The project was first announced on live television, followed by a post from Graham and an announcement from the publisher.

During the Wednesday broadcast of NBC’s TODAY, Carson Daly was the first to announce the upcoming Gilmore Girls book. The book is currently scheduled for release in the fall of 2027. Soon after, Lauren Graham, the actress who played Lorelai Gilmore in the series, took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos, announcing in the caption, “Because we love you, Amy and I are working on a new Gilmore Girls book. Get your coffee ready!”

The carousel included a selfie of Graham and Amy Sherman-Palladino, the co-creator of the show, followed by a series of stills from Gilmore Girls featuring books. Fans flooded the comments with nostalgic reflections and immense excitement over seeing Graham reunite with Sherman-Palladino.
