Ginnifer Goodwin is sharing her love story with husband Josh Dallas and how she realized they were meant to marry before they even began dating.
The actors met while co-starring in the ABC fantasy series Once Upon a Time in 2011 and have been married since 2014. They are parents to two sons, born in May 2014 and June 2016. Recently, they made their first public appearance with their children!
During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, which aired on November 25, Ginnifer discussed falling in love with Josh.
“I feel like we’re so disgusting. We’re like best friends and we get along so well that we’re super annoying. We love working together all the time. I know we’re gross,” Ginnifer joked.
She continued, “So he played Prince Charming and I was playing Snow White on this show Once Upon a Time. It’s so serendipitous, and I thought, oh, this guy’s gonna be my best friend because at that point I didn’t actually know that you could have the whole package. [I] I was super crushing on him, but I didn’t think it was meant to be for us.”
“So he had never been to Disneyland or any Disney park. We were not dating yet, but I was secretly pining for him, and I am a Disney nut. I took the entire cast to Disneyland after we shot the pilot, before starting the second episode,” Ginnifer said. “I was sitting next to him on Big Thunder Mountain, and I have a photo of the moment it happened. He threw his arms in the air and exclaimed, ‘This is the greatest day of my life,’ and I thought, ‘I’m so marrying that guy.’ There was no question that he was my soulmate.”
