Danny Jones is speaking out on a recent cheating controversy.
After he was spotted sharing what appeared to be a kiss with Maura Higgins at a Brit Awards 2025 after-party, the McFly singer publicly apologized to his wife Georgia Horsley and their 7-year-old son Cooper Alf Jones.
"Hello everyone," Danny started the message shared to his Instagram Story March 14. "Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me."
The 39-year-old—who married Georgia in 2014—went on to note that his unspecified actions were not a reflection of how he feels about the model.
"I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation," Danny continued. "I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately."
He added, "I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny."
E! News reached out to reps for Maura and Georgia for comment but has not heard back.
Danny first sparked cheating speculation when a video appeared to show him sharing a brief kiss with Maura—who starred alongside him on season 24 of the reality survival show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!—while waiting for an elevator after attending a March 1 after-party for the 2025 Brit Awards at London's 180 Studios.
In the clip, published by The Sun March 2, Maura—rocking stilettos, micro shorts with white frill detailing and a matching blazer top—seemingly leaned in to give Danny a quick kiss while standing in the lobby of the building. Shortly after, the musician—wearing a black suit and white button-down shirt—appeared to return the gesture.
And while Maura has yet to address the moment publicly, the Love Island alum—who called it quits with U.K. television personality Pete Wicks in February following less than a year together—previously got candid about her perspective on dating.
"I don't feel like I need a man," Maura told The Times in an interview published Jan. 11. "But I'll date, and I'll see where something goes, and if it happens, it happens."
