Teresa Giudice has a debt to pay.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas owe over $3 million in taxes, E! News confirmed.
According to records from the New Jersey Courts website, Giudice is facing a tax lien—filed March 20—amounting to $303,889 while Ruelas' March 6 judgement adds up to $2,569,842. Additionally, Ruelas is still facing a lien of $163,523.94 from December 2024.
The cases are currently open, according to the court website.
While the couple—who married in August 2022—has yet to publicly address their tax issues, E! News reached out to Giudice for comment, but has yet to receive a response.
This isn't the first time the Bravo star has faced potential legal troubles. Giudice served 11 months in prison in 2015 for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Her then-husband Joe Giudice—with whom she shares daughters Gia, 23, Gabriella, 20, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 15—also spent over three years behind bars for the same crimes before they divorced in 2020 after over two decades of marriage.
The Skinny Italian author has faced scrutiny over her relationship with Ruelas, especially after her RHONJ costars trash-talked him all throughout season 14 and circulated rumors about his past marriage.
However, Giudice has never waivered in her support for the father of three.
"Since I've met Louie," the 52-year-old said during the heated season 14 reunion last year, "there have been people that have been putting out false narratives out there and I prove it in black and white and you'll see that."
Giudice also raised eyebrows when she revealed prior to their nuptials that they weren't signing a prenup.
"I mean, I would, you know, if he said so," she admitted during a February 2022 Watch What Happens Live appearance. "I'm so very easy about that. He definitely has more than me. I would never take anything from him, I'm so not like that."
Fast forward to last year, the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary with a trip to Europe.
"He's amazing," Giudice told E! News at the time. "He's great. I guess when you're in love it's very easy."
"And you just got to respect each other," she continued, "and always stay in your love bubble."
