Naomi Watts is continuing to cheer her daughter on.
The Friend actress' daughter Kai Schreiber, 16, who she shares with ex Liev Schreiber, was unveiled as one of the faces of Valentino's Pre-Fall campaign, and Naomi—who married Billy Crudup in 2023—couldn't help but gush about the high-profile modeling gig.
"Congratulations @kaischreiberrr — so exciting!!" the 56-year-old—who also shares son Sasha, 17, with her ex-husband—captioned photos from the campaign, which was shot under the direction of creative director Alessandro Michele. "@alessandro_michele your vision is spectacularly poetic."
Naomi, who was snapped on set with Kai in one of the pictures, added that she's "beaming with pride" over her daughter's latest project, which show her dancing around and playing with a Rubik's Cube in jeans, a black top with a giant blue bow on it and a sheer cardigan.
Liev—who shares Hazel, 19 months, with wife Taylor Neisen—also shared some of the photos to his own Instagram Stories after they were released, while Kai herself wrote on Instagram, "i am endlessly grateful for this campaign and everyone on the team."
The campaign's release comes a month after Kai made her runway debut in Valentino's Paris Fashion Week show March 9.
"That’s my @maisonvalentino baby!" Naomi wrote on Instagram at the time. "I’m squealing with pride."
Meanwhile, Liev also shared praise for their daughter, writing on Instagram, "Ladies and gentlemen the one, the only, the indomitable @kaishreiberr!"
Of course, Kai also reflected on the meaningful moment.
“Omgg my heart is so full,” the 16-year-old wrote in a March 9 Instagram post, before adding to Valentino creative director Alessandro Michele and her glam team, “ilysm.”
On that occasion, her mom also heaped more praise over her daughter in the comments, writing, “Be still my beating heart!! bravo darling ILSM and what a show!!”
After Kai's runway debut, Liev shot back at critics who labeled her a "nepo baby."
"I don't have many thoughts for the haters," the 57-year-old told TMZ in an interview posted March 12. "I'm gonna put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world. Do they have the choice of what you did?"
He continued, "It doesn't matter, like, that's her life. She does what she wants with her life. And I'm super proud of her. I thought she did an amazing job on the show."
