Proof Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Kids Archie and Lilibet Are Following in Her Footsteps

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children have inherited not just their dad's red hair, but also their mom's love of gardening.

The Duchess of Sussex shared new photos of son Prince Archie, 5, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 3, picking roses from their garden on Instagram April 27.

Lilibet, sporting golden copper hair worn loosely and a light pink top, is seen waiting beside her mother as the Netflix star presents her with a freshly cut pink rose from a large bush.

Other pics show Archie, who has darker red hair cut short and wore a dark blue top and black pants, examining a bush containing cream roses with pink tips—similar to a hybrid named after Harry's late mom Princess Diana—and then holding up a large cut blossom.

"Sunday kind of love," Meghan captioned her post, "with my little loves."

The former actress, who lives with the family in Southern California, talks about her and the kids' love of working in the garden on her Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, which premiered in March. 

The Suits alum noted that Archie and Lilibet—nicknamed Lili—have their own tools and "take gardening seriously." She also talks about her and Harry's daughter's love of the color pink.

While neither Archie nor Lilibet appear on With Love, Meghan, which is filmed at a neighbor's home, the duchess has occasionally shared glimpses of them on Instagram, which she rejoined on New Year's Day after a long hiatus.

Earlier this weekend, Meghan posted a rare video of Lilibet speaking while helping her to cook strawberry preserves at home. The little girl, who has an American accent like her mom and brother, is heard commenting on the boiling sweet condiment, which—as the Suits alum has said on her show—she has helped her make before.
