Hailee Steinfeld Discusses Adam Sandler and Golden Globes with Josh Allen

Pregnant Hailee Steinfeld’s Husband Josh Allen Reacts to Her Golden Globes Look After Playoffs Win

Hailee Steinfeld had a remarkable celebrity encounter at the 2026 Golden Globes.

After appearing as a presenter at the 83rd annual event in Los Angeles, the Sinners star shared her excitement about the delightful conversation she had with Adam Sandler on the red carpet with her husband Josh Allen.

“For context, Adam Sandler is a constant presence in our home. We often have one of his movies playing,” Hailee explained in her Beau Society newsletter on Jan. 16, mentioning that “the other night” they watched his 2011 comedy Just Go With It. “So when Adam Sandler waved me down at the entrance to the Globes and said, ‘Hey, buddy! I loved Sinners! You’re doing amazing. And congrats to Josh!’ I was eager to share this with my husband.”

Indeed, the Oscar nominee and the Buffalo Bills quarterback, both 29, are such avid fans of Adam that they even dressed as characters Bobby Boucher and Vicki Vallencourt from his 1998 movie Waterboy for Halloween last year, as shown in a throwback photo of the couple in their costumes shared alongside the story.
