Ray J states that doctors are prescribing him numerous medications to prolong his life, with a total of eight different drugs despite their serious prognosis.
The rapper shared with TMZ that he received distressing news from doctors, who informed him they are uncertain about how much longer he has to live and advised him to remain in bed while adhering to his medication regimen.
In case you missed it, Ray J revealed that doctors have given him only months to live, expressing doubts about reaching 2027. He mentioned that half of his heart has turned black and is functioning at just 60 percent, which is concerning.
Ray J reported that doctors prescribed several medications, including the cholesterol drug Lipitor, Jardiance, and Entresto—medications typically given to individuals at high risk of heart failure—among others.
Doctors advised him to prepare for the potential need for a pacemaker or defibrillator, but he will not receive an update until his follow-up appointment in 14 days.
Ray J mentioned that doctors have cautioned him against drinking or smoking—habits he finds challenging to give up—but he is striving to maintain a healthier lifestyle. He expressed that not being able to see his children has deeply affected him and made him realize the need for a lifestyle change. Currently, he is under a criminal protective order preventing him from seeing his kids.
Regarding his planned trip to Haiti in search of a cure for his condition, Ray J acknowledged the current chaos in the island nation but believes that Haiti may offer cures for various ailments, including heart diseases, so he is willing to take the risk and travel there for treatment.
In conclusion, Ray J stated, “If I come out of this, I’ll be stronger and a better person.”
