Renowned musician Mike Campbell has unveiled a captivating new single with his band, Dirty Knobs, entitled “Heart of the Heartland.” This track promises to resonate with audiences through its rich storytelling and heartfelt themes.
In a recent press release, Campbell expressed his enthusiasm for the new song, stating, “‘Heart of the Heartland‘ is a track that I hold dear to my heart. It serves as a vivid travelogue exploring the vast landscapes of middle America. The musical composition is intentionally straightforward, yet the lyrics are imbued with references to iconic American landscapes and sentiments that many can relate to. Much of the imagery is inspired by my personal experiences across the heartland throughout the years. I also thoroughly enjoyed incorporating strings into the arrangement, thanks to Patrick Warren’s brilliant orchestration.”
