Julia Roberts has been captivating audiences for over 30 years, starting with her breakout role in the 1990 film Pretty Woman and continuing with her latest movie, Ticket to Paradise, alongside her longtime friend, George Clooney. Julia and George have shared a long friendship and worked together on the film Ocean’s 12 during a significant time in Julia’s life — her first pregnancy! Julia starred in the film with George, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon, who were all incredibly supportive during her pregnancy.

Julia is now the proud mother of three children: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, and Henry. She shares her children with husband Daniel Moder, a cinematographer with whom she collaborated on the 2000 comedy The Mexican. They married in 2002.
Julia and Danny’s kids have grown significantly and are now all teenagers! As many parents would agree, Julia has expressed that adjusting to her kids being teenagers has been challenging. “Danny and I really don’t know what it’s like to be a teenager today. Julia and Daniel’s first children were twins born in November 2004. Hazel Moder has grown up quite a bit and resembles her mother! Julia’s look-alike daughter made her red carpet debut in July 2021 when she attended the premiere of her dad’s movie Flag Day at the Cannes Film Festival. She looked just like Julia in an off-white dress and black shoes, with her hair styled in a ponytail. In addition to her looks, Hazel seems to be following in her mom’s footsteps; she made her big screen debut with a small role in Julia’s 2016 movie Mother’s Day, where she played the “cartwheel kid,” according to her IMDb.
Beyond their shared interests in film, Julia and Hazel have bonded over political issues as well. The actress revealed that she took her daughter to the 2017 Women’s March in Washington D.C., as mentioned in an interview with CBS. The Pretty Woman actress explained that she wanted Hazel to understand the ideas and beliefs she holds as a woman. “She had a very strong interest in the election, and I think the result was so surprising to her, as it was to many of us. And I felt it was important for her to feel a sense of participating — you know, that you’re not just in your house and this thing has happened,” she said.
Hazel shares a strong bond with her dad as well. The cinematographer posted a selfie of his daughter on Instagram in September 2019 and praised his little girl. “So lucky this girl is my daughter…and that she takes these awesome selfies on my phone. Staying gnarly,” he wrote in the caption.
When Hazel and Phinnaeus turned 19 on November 28, 2023, Julia shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute featuring a throwback picture from when they were babies. “There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together,” she wrote in her caption.
Phinnaeus Moder
Hazel’s twin is Phinnaeus Moder. While his sister made her film debut a few years ago, it appears that Phinnaeus shares interests more aligned with his dad. The two were spotted wearing matching white t-shirts back in June, suggesting that Phinnaeus might be into skateboarding.
Julia’s kids were actually the reason she joined Instagram; however, the Academy Award-winner rarely posts pictures of them on the platform. Her husband occasionally shares glimpses into their family life and has shown that he and Phinnaeus have much in common. Danny has posted photos of himself surfing and has also shared pictures of Phinnaeus skateboarding. Henry Moder
Three years after welcoming Hazel and Phinnaeus, Julia gave birth to Henry in June 2007. Similar to his older brother, most information we have about Henry comes from his dad’s Instagram posts. Like Phinnaeus, Henry appears to have an interest in extreme sports as well. His dad has shared numerous videos of him skateboarding just like his brother.
