Many of our favorite horror franchises have transitioned to 4K, including Friday the 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Hellraiser. Now, Leprechaun will join their ranks. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that Leprechaun will receive a Steelbook 4K release on March 17, exclusively from Lionsgate Limited.

Jennifer Aniston Wasn’t a Big Fan
Leprechaun marked Jennifer Aniston’s first feature role. While the film certainly helped elevate her career, it’s not one she recalls fondly. During an interview for The Morning Show last year, an interviewer mentioned being a big fan of Leprechaun.
Aniston replied, “Oh, see, there you go. Mmm. I know! A lot of people do. I don’t know why; it’s not my favorite, but it’s, uh… listen, whatever blows your hair back, you know?” I tend to agree with Aniston; despite my affection for the horror franchises mentioned earlier in this article, Leprechaun just never resonated with me. However, I’m pleased this release will be available for fans.
Will you be adding Leprechaun to your 4K (or VHS) collections?
