However, star Taylor Zakhar Perez has shared some insights into why he is unlikely to reveal much about the upcoming project. This sequel, which was officially announced last year, follows the successful adaptation of Casey McQuiston‘s bestselling novel of the same name. Since no sequel novel exists, the storyline for the upcoming follow-up remains shrouded in mystery. Zakhar Perez takes on the role of Alex Claremont-Diaz, the fictional First Son of the United States, opposite Nicholas Galitzine, who portrays the charming Prince Henry of England. The two are compelled to feign friendship despite their initial disdain for one another after a public incident at a wedding leads to unexpected romantic tension. Concerning the sequel, Zakhar Perez mentions to Elle that he has adopted a Marvel-like approach regarding the script for this follow-up.
