Jena Malone has volunteered for a lifetime of love.
The Hunger Games alum announced she is engaged to fellow actor Jack Buckley, who she described as “a dream come true.”
“My soulmate asked me to marry him,” Jena wrote in a joint Instagram post on February 11 alongside pictures from the proposal. She also noted that Jack got the blessing from her two moms, sister, and son Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone, 9, who she shares with ex Ethan DeLorenzo, adding, “With every lifetime, every moment I have in front of me I said yes.”
The 41-year-old addressed Jack directly, writing, “I love you forever!!!”
The Pride & Prejudice actress also included an original poem with her announcement, which referenced the patience she kept while waiting for that “forever” with Jack.
“It was always you / Even in those long, dark spaces of my youth,” she shared. “Where I learned to hold my own heart / You were always there / Breathing life into these tiny glimmers of a child’s heart….Love…..Soulmate……Marriage.”
