Benny Blanco is discussing his personal hygiene openly.
After footage of his dirty feet went viral last month, the music producer—who is married to Selena Gomez—addressed online comments about his alleged body odor, with his longtime friend Ed Sheeran even coming to his defense.
“I’m like you, though. I look like I don’t smell good,” Ed joked on the March 10 episode of Benny’s Friends Keep Secrets podcast, “but you’re the best smelling person I know.”
Benny replied, “I know! I smell good—even if I don’t shower.”
The two agreed that if anyone should face backlash over their scent, it should be Benny’s podcast co-host Lil Dicky.
“That’s like a bum hole,” Ed quipped after getting a whiff of the rapper’s bellybutton. “Can I have something that’s going to take that smell away?”
Benny added, “Mine smells just like nothing.”
Regarding why the soles of his feet were dirty during a past episode of his podcast, which sent the internet into a frenzy, Benny explained, “It’s the facility’s fault,” during his Feb. 26 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
