Invisible Raptor Reveals Three Clips Before Blu-ray Launch

Exciting sneak peeks from The Invisible Raptor are now available as the horror comedy film gears up for its Blu-ray launch.

The horror comedy film The Invisible Raptor made a splash at the 2023 Sitges Film Festival, captivating audiences and critics alike. Following its festival run, the film maintained an impressive 100% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes for a period. Although the score has slightly dipped since its theatrical and digital release by Well Go USA in December, it still boasts a high audience rating of 93%. Fans can look forward to the film’s Blu-ray release on February 4th, with copies available for pre-order HERE. In anticipation, three thrilling clips have been released, including the one featured above and two more at the end of this article.

Directed by Mike Hermosa and penned by Mike Capes and Johnny Wickham, The Invisible Raptor presents an intriguing storyline: After a high-stakes experiment goes awry, a hyper-intelligent invisible raptor escapes from the laboratory and begins to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting neighborhood. As the creature’s true nature is revealed, a disgraced paleontologist, his ex-girlfriend, an eccentric amusement park security guard, and a local celebrity chicken farmer emerge as the last line of defense against the raptor’s chaotic rampage.

The film features a talented cast, including writer Mike Capes (For the Win), alongside Sean Astin (The Goonies), David Shackelford (True Detective), Caitlin McHugh Stamos (The Vampire Diaries), Sandy Martin (Napoleon Dynamite), Larry Hankin (Friends), Richard Riehle (Office Space), and Vanessa Chester (The Lost World: Jurassic Park). This ensemble cast brings unique characters to life and adds depth to the comedic and thrilling elements of the film.

Director Mike Hermosa is known for his previous works, including the horror thriller Dutch Hollow, the dramatic film The Righteous and the Wicked, and the comedy The Head Thieves. Along with starring in and writing the film, Capes also took on a producer role, collaborating with Wickham, Hermosa, Nic Neary, and William Ramsey. The executive producer, Bobby Gilchrist, oversaw the project, supported by associate producers Derek Alvarado, Marco Dapper, and Tyler Gildred.

Critics have praised The Invisible Raptor as ?the clever version of a ridiculous movie,? noting its ?hilariously absurd? nature, describing it as ?downright outrageous,? ?playfully silly,? and ?inventive throughout.? Viewers have also commended the film for its ?relatable characters? and moments of ?genuinely entertaining gore.? Such feedback indicates that this film promises a unique and enjoyable viewing experience!
