    Isla Fisher Comments on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Divorce

    Now Isla Fisher didn’t see this coming.

    The Confessions of a Shopaholic actress revealed that she was surprised by Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s recent breakup.

    While giving an update on her own dating life on the Oct. 23 episode of David Spade and Dana Carvey‘s Fly on the Wall podcast, Isla noted that she “only just got separated, divorced” after having been married for 23 years to Sacha Baron Cohen, which the couple announced last year.

    As a follow-up question, Dana asked Isla what it was like having a friend like Nicole—who is from Australia like the Wedding Crashers star—”going through something.”

    “I’m really, really, really shocked,” the 49-year-old—who shares three kids with Sacha—shared. “I have left a message, I have not connected yet, but I don’t really wanna comment on that because there are children involved.”

    Indeed, Nicole filed for divorce from Keith on Sept. 30, one day after news broke that the pair—who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—had been living apart since the beginning of the summer. Amid the breakup news, the Oscar winner recently opened up about overcoming obstacles that life has thrown at her.
