Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis
Fight Canceled
Following Investigation Into Assault Allegations

Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis is no longer happening — Most Valuable Promotions has announced that the boxing match scheduled for Nov. 15 has been canceled … just days after Gervonta was accused of assaulting a woman at a strip club.
MVP — which initiated an investigation last week into the allegations made against Davis in the lawsuit filed in Florida — issued a statement on Monday indicating it “worked closely with all parties to navigate this situation responsibly.”
MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian stated that the plan is for Paul to still enter the ring for Netflix before the end of 2025 — it just won’t be against Davis.
With the event approaching rapidly, Paul’s team was reportedly trying hard to find a replacement for Davis… and Francis Ngannou informed TMZ Sports that he received a call during the search — but had no interest.

The fight was originally announced in August … and became a hot topic due to Paul’s significant size advantage over Davis — Paul stands at 6’1″ and weighs just under 200 pounds, while Davis is 5’5″, weighing 135 pounds.
As previously reported, a woman named Courtney Rossel accused Davis of assaulting her and threatening her multiple times during their five-month relationship.
She alleged that Davis approached her at Tootsies in Miami last Monday … and grabbed, pushed, pulled, and choked her during her shift as a VIP cocktail waitress.
A police report was filed following the alleged incident.
Two days ago, MVP announced it had launched its own investigation into the allegations against Davis … stating, “At this time, we are gathering information and reviewing the details to ensure any decision we make is thoroughly vetted.”
