Approximately three years after the conclusion of her marriage to Kody Brown, Janelle Brown may be departing from TLC’s Sister Wives, a show she has been a significant part of for 20 years. The indications of her potential exit stem from a series of Instagram posts, suggesting that Brown might be seeking new opportunities.
Rumors About Janelle Brown Leaving Sister Wives Explained
The Sister Wives star Janelle Brown, who has been featured on the TLC show for 20 seasons, recently shared a series of Instagram posts. These posts have raised concerns among her fans regarding her possible exit from the reality series.
“I used to think I’d ‘broken’ at certain points in my life,” Brown wrote in an Instagram post on December 21, 2025, “Leaving the show… leaving a marriage… starting over at an age where everyone expects you to have it all figured out. I kept looking at the pieces and thinking something must be wrong with me.”
She continued in the post, “Standing where I am, I can see it differently…None of those moments were breaking points. They were shedding points. Old expectations…Old identities that were never really mine.”
This seemed to indicate that Brown was planning to embark on something completely new.
Additionally, in a post from two days earlier, Brown expressed, “For so long I felt like I was running to catch up with the version of me the world created… the strong one, the steady one, the one who didn’t bend even when things were heavy.”
Brown appears to be in her farming phase. She is currently developing her Taeda Farms business alongside her eldest daughter, Madison. “It’s nothing I ever pictured for myself, not even close,” Brown remarked while discussing the next chapter of her life, “But now that I’m in it, it’s like my whole body finally said, ‘Oh… this is what we’ve needed.”
She had also previously suggested in an interview that she was ready to explore the next chapter of her life.
While it remains unclear if Janelle Brown is leaving immediately, it seems fans have valid reasons to be concerned about this situation.
