Famke Janssen, best known for portraying Jean Grey in the X-Men franchise, addressed questions about her former co-stars returning for Avengers: Doomsday. Famke Janssen mówi, że gatunek komiksowy nigdy nie był jej światem

Famke Janssen, who portrayed Jean Grey / Phoenix in X-Men: The Last Stand, addressed her reaction to the return of several of her former co-stars for Avengers: Doomsday. During an interview with ScreenRant for her upcoming Netflix series Amsterdam Empire, Janssen stated, “Yeah, to be honest with you, I don’t really know the storyline, so I’m not sure. It’s not my world, it’s never been my world, really, that whole comic book world.” She added, “I should know by now, I’ve been in it long enough. But I’m really excited to see when it comes out.”

The actress shared that while she remains curious about the new film, she is content to view it as an audience member, suggesting she may not return in the upcoming Avengers outing. Janssen continued, “Just like everyone else, I’ll find out what those storylines are and how it all ended up.” She reflected on her time with the franchise, saying, “Those were great films to be part of, and they’ve done so many good things for my career.”

Janssen also discussed her broader filmography, mentioning, “It’s just amazing that over all these years, I’ve had these franchises, like the X-Men or Taken for three films or the Netflix series Hemlock Grove for three seasons or Amsterdam Empire and a Bond film.” She added that she values variety, noting, “It’s [amazing] being part of these, but then having the variety constantly works best for me. I’m really not good at repeating anything.”
