In one document, Jeffrey declared Trump “borderline insane” in a 2018 email exchange with former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.

In early January 2018, Jeffrey emailed with a reporter at The New York Times and referred to the president’s mental state while sharing an excerpt of Michael Wolff‘s Fire and Fury featured in New York Magazine.

The reporter said Trump was “looking/sounding increasingly unhinged,” and Jeffrey replied, “no questions Donald‘s statement is goofy. . early dementia?”

In an August 23, 2018 email to former White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, which came after Michael Cohen pled guilty to federal campaign finance crimes, he wrote: “I know how dirty Donald is.”

“You see, I know how dirty Donald is. My guess is that non-lawyers NY biz people have no idea what it means to have your fixer flip,” he wrote in the email.
