Jessica Simpson is making her return to acting after nearly two decades, and she appears quite different in her role on the new Hulu series All’s Fair.
The new show by Ryan Murphy, featuring Kim Kardashian in her first leading role, has received harsh criticism and has been labeled the “worst” show of the year.

Jessica portrays a victim of unsuccessful plastic surgery.
“Filming All’s Fair was an incredible experience. I had a blast,” Jessica shared with Entertainment Tonight. “I spent eight hours in prosthetics, so it was quite intense.”
“I truly embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting,” she added.
Jessica‘s character is married to a rock star who encouraged her to undergo plastic surgery to appear younger, which she agreed to do.
“We’ve been married for almost three years. I knew he had one affair — probably more. So when he suggested I get plastic surgery, I couldn’t refuse,” the character states in the episode.
