Jil Sander Collection Reviewed by Forum Members Under Simone Bellotti

Day two of Milan Fashion Week showcased a series of presentations from some of the industry’s top talents. The Jil Sander Spring 2026 collection marked the debut of Simone Bellotti as the brand’s creative director. Previously with Bally, Bellotti took over from Luke and Lucie Meier in March. For his eagerly awaited inaugural collection, the Italian designer invited guests to Jil Sander’s Milan headquarters, designed by architect Michael Gabellini. Models (including Guinevere van Seenus opening) appeared from backstage adorned in Bolletti’s designs featuring pure lines, architectural shapes, subtle primary colors, and an abundance of minimalism.

Review of the Jil Sander Spring 2026 Collection

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“F*ck yes!! It’s actually hilarious that it took 12 years to find someone competent to be in charge of Jil Sander!” [helmutnotdead]

“Return to form, even if it is reminiscent of Raf Simons’ Jil Sander. I don’t care, I love this!” [youthinasia]

“It’s a nice debut. Better than I expected. I think what I loved the most was the color palette that felt reassuring.” [Lola701]

“Kudos to SB, he got it right, he got the mood, the silhouettes, the music right. The guy knows what he’s doing and has been very respectful not only of Jil’s history but also of the years under Raf, as it’s obvious by the colour palette.” [bc collector]

“I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!” [prylvi]

“Simone respects the codes of the house, and it is refreshing to see that there can be minimalism beyond Phoebe Philo. Bravo!” [Monsieur Cristobal]

“I feel like he put Jil back on track. This debut feels in many ways like Raf’s debut, a cleanser. The Meiers absolutely tarnished the brand and this feels closer to the original spirit.” [Norden]
