Joe Burrow Surprises Offensive Linemen with Fossil Gifts

‘Tis the season for bones and fossils.

Indeed, as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow felt that was the perfect theme for his offensive line this holiday season.

The official Bengals TikTok made the reveal in a Dec. 27 post writing, “This year, Joe Burrow gifted his offensive linemen authentic dinosaur, bear and mammoth fossils for Christmas.”

In honor of the customary tradition of the quarterback handing out elaborate gifts to the teammates who protect him throughout the season, Joe got into the prehistoric theme, and according to ESPN, the 29-year-old invited the players to his home where they were able to pick the fossil of their choice.

Of the gifts, Orlando Brown Jr. and Amarius Mims got cave bear skulls and Dylan Fairchild received a part of a T-Rex.

For the team—who received samurai swords last year—it was a testament to Joe’s fun and unique interests.

“I think it speaks to his intelligence and interests and his desire to do something unique,” center Ted Karras told ESPN in an interview Dec. 26. “I thought it was really special.”
