Renowned musician John Lodge has excitingly unveiled new tour dates for his highly anticipated summer of 2025 concert series. Fans of the legendary former Moody Blues vocalist can look forward to the upcoming Singer in a Rock and Roll Band tour, which promises to deliver unforgettable performances throughout July and August.
Following the conclusion of his previous tour, which wrapped up its U.S. dates in March, Lodge captivated audiences by performing the classic 1967 album Days of Future Passed in its entirety. The upcoming concerts are set to feature a diverse selection of songs from the extensive catalog of the group, ensuring a nostalgic experience for both long-time fans and new listeners alike.

The successful Days of Future Passed tour, which took place throughout 2024 and early 2025, allowed Lodge to reconnect with the timeless music of the Moody Blues. After concluding the last leg of performances, he revisited the band’s iconic catalog and selected songs that held a special place in his heart to share with his audience.
As indicated in a press release regarding the new tour, the Singer in a Rock and Roll Band series will feature beloved tracks from the core seven albums of the band, including Days of Future Passed, In Search of the Lost Chord (1968), On the Threshold of a Dream (1969), To Our Children’s Children’s Children (1969), A Question of Balance (1970), Every Good Boy Deserves Favour (1971), and Seventh Sojourn (1972).
Additionally, music from Octave (1978) and Long Distance Voyager (1981) will also be included in the setlist, enhancing the concert experience with a rich array of songs that span decades.
“Performing Days of Future Passed in its entirety has been an absolute pleasure over the past couple of years, but I’m incredibly excited about our new show,” Lodge expressed. “There are several tracks that I’ve longed to perform that I haven’t had the chance to before, and many of our classic songs seem to resonate with a new meaning after facing health challenges. I genuinely hope everyone will enjoy this ongoing journey with me.”
Despite facing a stroke in late 2023, Lodge made a remarkable comeback and was back on stage by mid 2024 with the Days of Future Passed tour. “I’m feeling great, and I absolutely love sharing this music with our fans,” he noted. “When I look out at the audience, I see familiar faces and occasionally some new ones, and I cherish the memories we’ve created over the decades. Thank you all for keeping the faith.”
