Jon Stewart employs sharp sarcasm to criticize Donald Trump … this comes after Jimmy Kimmel was suspended by ABC for his comments regarding Charlie Kirk‘s killer.
“The Daily Show” host made an unexpected appearance on the show Thursday — he usually only appears behind the desk on Mondays — as the show underwent a complete revamp, mocking the president.
Before Stewart appears in a Trump-like outfit against a golden decor backdrop … the show’s announcer states, “From Comedy Central, it’s the all-new government-approved ‘Daily Show’ with your patriotically obedient host, Jon Stewart.”
The comedian feigns anxiety as he tells the audience, “We have another fun, hilarious, administration-compliant show” … then criticizes NYC as a “crime-ridden cesspool” and even suggests that the National Guard should invade the city.

After mocking Trump’s recent visit to the UK … Stewart addresses the Kimmel controversy, stating that the First Amendment is now evaluated by a “talent-o-meter” — which he describes as a “scientific instrument that is kept on the president’s desk.” He jokes that if a performer isn’t nice to the president, the FCC will be alerted.
Stewart remarks he’s not acquainted with “Johnny Drimmel Live” but asserts “our great nation has laid out very clear rules on free speech.”
