Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar) is reacting to news of her brother Joseph Duggar‘s arrest.

If you didn’t see the news, Joseph, 31, was arrested last week and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor who is said to now be 14 years old.

On Thursday (March 26), Joy-Anna, 28, took to her Instagram Story to share a statement reacting to her brother’s arrest, calling the situation “deeply disturbing.”

Keep reading to find out more…“What has come out about my brother is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing,” Joy-Anna wrote. “My heart is with the victim, and I am grieved by the pain and harm caused.”

She continued, “I have been a wreck this week and am taking time to process. I have a few pre-filmed commitments that I have to post, but I will be taking some much-needed time with my family. Thank you for your prayers.”

Days after Joseph‘s arrest, his wife Kendra was also arrested, but on unrelated charges.
