Juliana Pasquarosa is speaking out for the first time following her split from Grant Ellis.
Nearly three months after getting engaged during the season 29 finale of The Bachelor that aired in March, Grant, 31, and Juliana, 28, announced in June that they had ended their engagement and broken up.
While appearing on the Tuesday (December 2) episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Juliana broke her silence on her split from Grant.

Days after the finale aired, Juliana claimed that there were “words exchanged” between her and Grant that made her feel “completely alone and isolated.” Juliana noted that she had “expressed some severe hurt” and felt like she was “carrying a lot of emotions between both parties” while watching the show back.
“His mental headspace was my top concern because I cared about him and I wanted to make sure he was OK. He was getting a lot of backlash,” Juliana said. She also noted that “nothing” that runner-up Litia Garr said during the finale “struck a nerve” with her.
If you forgot, during Grant’s After the Final Rose special, Litia revealed that Grant had told her he might as well “stop the show” because he was so sure she was the one for him.
Following the confession, Juliana said that she could immediately feel her and Grant‘s relationship starting to crumble.
“When we woke up, the first thing he said to me was he had game-planned different ways we could announce our breakup,” Juliana recalled. “And I hadn’t even made that decision on my end.”
“I think it was just a matter of how it was handled on his end and trying to get him to take some accountability in that,” she added.
During an Instagram Live, Grant said that he was “not heartbroken” after his split from Juliana.
