Kanye West is back in the fashion game, actively selling products on his Yeezy website once again.
After enduring several months of inactivity following the suspension of his online store by Shopify, the controversial rapper and innovative fashion designer has re-entered the marketplace with an exciting assortment of new items, most of which are available for an affordable price of just $20.
The newly launched designs are exclusively offered in a sleek palette of white, black, and grey. The collection features a variety of apparel, ranging from cozy hoodies to essential underwear.
In addition to clothing, West is also showcasing a selection of footwear that includes stylish sliders, comfortable slippers, and trendy trainers. Each piece is designed to reflect his unique aesthetic and vision.
While West has not publicly discussed his return to the fashion industry, his presence is felt through these new offerings.
The Chicago native, known for his bold statements and influential creativity, has been relatively low-key lately, opting to stay away from social media.
Nevertheless, his relationship with Bianca Censori has recently become a subject of public commentary, particularly from his former rival, 50 Cent.
On Instagram, 50 Cent shared a photo of West alongside a bikini-clad Censori, playfully mocking their relationship.
He captioned the image with a humorous remark: “B!tch the sidewalk is for Pimpin, you get your ass out on that street and catch a date,” implying that West was playing a dominant role in their relationship.
50 Cent also took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about their iconic chart battle back in 2007, when both of their albums, Curtis and Graduation, were released simultaneously.
Both albums achieved remarkable success, collectively selling over one million copies in the first week, but West emerged victorious with a significant lead of 266,000 sales.
Despite this, 50 Cent claimed that he could have triumphed in the competition had he approached it with greater seriousness.
“We made the highest sales week for Hip Hop culture, doing that and being competitive,” he stated. “Fans were so engaged that they were buying multiple copies just to support the rivalry. It was a moment where we had to come together, but there were never any hard feelings between us.
“That was his ‘break’ album that launched him into superstardom. If I had really wanted to compete, I would have gone on tour with him. I had all the material from my previous albums that could have complemented what he was doing with [Graduation] to create an even stronger impact.”
Despite their competitive history, West has expressed nothing but respect and admiration for 50 Cent, showcasing the complex yet amicable nature of their relationship.
