Keanu Reeves has experienced notable success in his romantic life.
Recently, he and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant sparked marriage rumors, although she quickly clarified on social media that they have not tied the knot. Nevertheless, the Matrix star mentioned that the speculation didn’t bother him much.
“Well, that wasn’t the first time,” Keanu remarked in an exclusive interview with E! News on Oct. 13 during the New York City premiere of his new film Good Fortune. “We’ve been together for a long time.”
The 61-year-old praised Alexandra—whom he began dating in 2018—for her Instagram post addressing the rumors.
“The wedding, it’s a nice thing,” he continued. “People sent a lot of kind messages, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’”
Indeed, the visual artist had some fun when informing everyone that she and the John Wick actor had not, in fact, gotten married.
